Motorized Delusion

Motorized Delusion is a 20 minute opera.
A car crash becomes the fracture point of perception. In its aftermath, music reshapes reality, pulling its survivor into a world where she believes that a cow was struck.

Blending techno and opera into a hybrid tech-opera soundscape, the score does not accompany her experience — it generates it. The music constructs the world she inhabits, shaping a reality that feels more convincing than fact.

Motorized Delusion was created for The Carousel as part of Opera Forward Festival 2025 at the National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam.
