MANIFEST OF THE RADICAL EMPATHY
Manifest of the radical empathy is a 15-minute performance that began with one central question: can we feel empathy for the act of disappearing?
The piece follows a painter who exists inside the very image she is creating. When she becomes aware of her own presence within that world, she chooses to step out of it — to disappear — in order to observe it from the outside.
This shift creates a new perspective not only for her, but also for the audience. Viewers are invited to enter her space and become part of her world, while she moves into the position of spectator.
Through this reversal, the work explores perspective, presence, and how distance can open the possibility for empathy.
